Since childhood, I have been a collector. What started as a tiny nook in my bedroom - filled with little treasures I thought were cool and beautiful; slowly grew into a lifelong passion.
As I traveled, I found myself bringing home a special piece from every country I visited. Over time, it became more about the delicate craftsmanship and the stories woven into each piece.
I believe a home should be a reflection of who we are - an intimate space filled with memories, meaning, and stories. Through Journey2Asia, I hope to share this love for handcrafted furniture and décor with others. This brand is my way of honoring the traditions, the artistry, and the people who create these timeless works of art.
Together with my pillar of strength - my husband, friend, and partner - we began this journey with a simple dream: to discover artisanal pieces across Asia and bring their stories into modern homes around the world.
They say life comes full circle, and for me, that could not be more true.
My dad owned a humble shop along Arab Street in Singapore, selling rattan handicrafts and small furniture. He was a simple man, yet the greatest example of work ethic I have ever known. He taught us that honesty and integrity are worth more than anything money can buy.
As a teenager, I didn’t always appreciate spending weekends and holidays helping him in the shop. But now, looking back, I understand how those small moments shaped me. I remember him saying once that his shop was like a child - something he nurtured from its early days, pouring time, love, and commitment into its growth.
Today, I find myself walking in his footsteps. I finally understand what he meant.
